Capydocs 0.9.2 was released on December 22, 2025. It added starter Vault content, native macOS menus, community themes, and Canvas search improvements. The complete change list is in the Capydocs changelog.

Starter Vaults and macOS integration

New Vaults opened with a small set of example files and an illustration. The examples showed how Capydocs organizes local documents without changing existing Vaults.

The macOS menu moved to the Tauri JavaScript menu API. This allowed the File, View, language, theme, and Help entries to follow application state and localization. Security-scoped bookmarks also preserved access to user-selected folders after the sandboxed Mac application relaunched.

Community themes and Canvas search

Settings gained an installer for community themes. Users could search the curated list, install or remove a theme, and load local CSS themes from the application data folder. Installed custom themes also appeared beside built-in themes in the macOS View menu.

Canvas files became searchable from the global index. The Canvas editor also gained its own Ctrl+F or Cmd+F search, with highlighted results and camera movement to the active match. New Canvas documents started with the same card size and styling used by cards created later.

Reliability and clearer diagnostics

Thumbnail generation skipped files larger than 64 MB and displayed a message instead of spending unbounded time or memory on them. Canvas resize handles used the correct cursor on macOS, folder duplication was fixed, and the About panel displayed the version, build type, and operating system.

Current Lite and Full products are available through the official stores on the Capydocs download page.
