Capydocs Lite now available on the Mac App Store

Capydocs Lite became available on the Mac App Store on December 30, 2025. It provides the local-first desktop workspace as a free product with defined limits.

Lite and Full are separate applications

Both Mac editions open user-selected Vault folders and work with ordinary local files. They share the main file browser, document viewers, Markdown workflow, search, and metadata model.

Lite applies limits to selected workflows and marks Full capabilities in the interface. When a limit is reached, the comparison screen explains the difference and links to the Full store listing. The exact comparison remains available on the pricing page so it can stay aligned with the application.

Capydocs Full is a separate paid product. Buying Full does not modify the Lite application; the Full listing installs its own build. Both receive updates through the Mac App Store.

Platform ownership

The Full purchase is a one-time purchase for the platform where it is bought. An Apple purchase does not transfer to Microsoft Store or Google Play, and Capydocs does not use a subscription to bridge store ownership.

Windows also has separate Lite and Full products. Android and iOS use the paid Full mobile product. The Capydocs store selector lists every current edition and platform.
